Sound Design & Programming

I was first exposed to MaxMSP & Midi in Fall 2022, after taking the class "Computational Thinking for Digital Culture". I didn't start getting too depth with it until 2024. I got introduced to VCV Rack and Modular Synthesis when taking classes instructed by Professor Seth Thorn, such as "Synthesis & Expression", "Advanced Interactive Sound" in Spring 2024, and "Wearable Music" in Fall 2024. In Fall 2024 & Spring 2025, I also became the sound designer for my Capstone class! This skill is fairly new to me but I've absolutely loved it!

Galactic Wearable Music Midterm

With the help of MaxMSP Gyroscopes on the M5 stick and VCV Rack, Julia Siclovan and I were able to produce this!

Chaotic Wearable Music Final

MaxMSP Enhanced Gyroscopes sensitivity (increased by about 2.5x), with an addition to Gravity. This was my individual patch for a 4 patch project with Jake Moore, Jake Powers, & Julia Siclovan.

Capstone II Final: The Human Effect

I was the programmer & sound designer with the AI-assisted Python, MaxMSP, and the sound in VCV rack. I was most responsible for the digital setup and functionality of the project, ensuring people were detected properly and enabling the videos and sound to display under the right criteria to successfully give users a concrete user-experience.
